JAYA Foundation was established in 2021 as a not-for-profit organisation registered under Society Act 1960. Jaya stand for female, the mother earth, all these words are confining with the single beautiful word Creator. Jaya Foundation is established to tribute to serve the Society, to save the earth, the female, the mother and human being. The Foundation aims to brings positive impact in life and livelihoods of targeted women. It works across all the categories of female of socio-economic strata: Women farmers, Women labour (both farm, Non-farm), Tribal, Single women. Jaya foundation does the activities and interventions with believe that to have happy and healthier society we need to save/protect the earth, the mother (she) and the women.
Read moreJaya Foundation is carrying a crystal clear serving purpose. Its origin is based on a true incidence during COVID phase 2 in the year 2021. A volunteer “Jaya” working with UPPRO which is a state level federation of FPOs of small and marginal farmers lost her life due to COVID infection. In honour to fulfill the commitment and continuity of her work for small and marginal farmers specially the women and women farmer, UPPRO founded Jaya Foundation to works specially for overall empowerment of women covering health, education with special focused on employment generation in agriculture and allied sector.

Mr. Lal Mani Tiwari
Holds Master in Master in Botany and PG Diploma in forestry from Sagar University. He has 25 years of experience in development sector work both at national and international level programme with government and social sector institutions as Regional Research Laboratory Bhopal (CSIR Lab 1996-98), IIFM Bhopal (1998-2001) and with BASIX Social Enterprise group (April 2002 to Mar 2021). He expertise in rural livelihoods, financial inclusion, management of rural enterprises, especially Farmer Producer Organizations and Economics with special emphasis on Community Institution Building. He is one of founding members of Jaya Foundation.

Prativa Sundarary
Masters in International development from Cornell University, Newyork and post graduate diploma in Rural Development from XIMB, Odisha. She has 16 years of experience in supporting livelihood activities for rural communities in India in the development sector –both in NGOs and in consulting agencies in managing projects in agricultural value chains, impact assessments and skill development the beneficiaries drawn from different institutions such as SHGs, Cooperatives and Farmer Producer Companies. She was the co-founder of Urvii Khadyam pvt.ltd. Currently, she continues as the founder director of Softskillz LLP that imparts softskills to graduate students.

Mr. Rajnikant Prasad
Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from XIMB having more than 20 years of work experience. Have worked with organizations like PRADAN, BASIX, IIM-A, Access Livelihoods, Bandhan, Grameen Foundation. Extensive experience in promotion and strengthening of around 200 FPOs in Uttar Pradesh. He has expertise and work experience in FPOs and Agri-value chain interventions, market led livelihood promotion, Community based institutions development (SHGs, FPOs), development microfinance etc.
